About
Carol Young has been in the silver business for over 25 years. After working for various jewelry wholesalers, she co-founded CW Young Company. 1986 was a perfect time to launch four day sterling silver jewelry trunk shows in retail stores throughout the United States. Over time, that business evolved to fundraising for hospitals and corporations.
In 1999, a Reader’s Digest subsidiary, Books Are Fun, hired Carol to create and manage Jewelry is Fun. In this capacity, she had the opportunity to develop direct contacts with oversea factories. Upon returning to her own business in 2003 (Carol Young Silver) she maintained those valuable relationships and now works closely with manufacturers in Thailand and China.
Watch for a second (NEW!) business to be launched in 2012!
“It is our goal to conduct the very best event at your hospital or corporation, regardless of the space, location or day available, and to help every individual customer find that perfect piece of jewelry to wear or to give as a gift."
